VISION:
The vision of the Doctoral Program in Humanities at Universitas Airlangga is to become a leading study program in the organization of education in the humanities: literature, philosophy, language, arts and culture, as well as history, developed in the context of cultural studies based on interdisciplinary expertise at both national and international levels, grounded in moral values and ethical principles of humanity.
MISSION:
The Doctoral Program in Humanities at Universitas Airlangga carries the mission to:
a. Provide academic and scientific services to support the development of knowledge through research and the advancement of humanities disciplines with an interdisciplinary perspective.
b. Develop intellectual skills, personal integrity, and expertise aligned with advancements in science and technology.
c. Enhance research, development, and scientific publication in the field of humanities that possesses distinctive characteristics and uniqueness, whether local, national, or global.
d. Foster an academic atmosphere in both teaching and research within the field of humanities to produce innovative and academic ideas about literature, arts and culture, language, and history, particularly in urban and suburban areas.
