A brief description of HIMA and links to HIMA social media : •Social Media In publicizing all activities carried out by all Niseikai citizens to the general public, KOMINFO department has a number of social media, among them: Facebook : Niseikai Studi Kejepangan Universitas Airlangga Twitter : @niseikai Instagram : @niseikai dan @niseichan Line : @993skqjl The Japanese Studies Programme, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Airlangga has a Student Association that is called Nihon Gakusei Kai Airuranga Daigaku （日本学生会アイルランガ大学）or abbreviated as Niseikai (日生会). Niseikai is the driving force for the students and at the same time facilitating them to fulfill the competencies they need, both in hard skills and soft skills. This is related to the educational process in higher education, where students are not only required to master academic knowledge, but also to have competence in the field of soft skills. Therefore, a forum is needed to accommodate student’s needs and aspirations in the form of student organizations. And Niseikai is a forum for students of the Japanese studies department. In carrying out its activities, Niseikai has several departments, including the Department of Academic Potential Development and Achievement which accommodates student activities in the academic field, especially the Japanese language; the Department of Culture and Sports which accommodates student who have interests related to sports and Japanese cultural arts, both traditional and popular culture; The Department of Communication and Information which accommodates student activities related to information technology; the Department of Funds and Business which accommodates student interests related to entrepreneurship, and the Department of Student Resource Development which accommodates student activities related to self and character development.
