Objectives of the Japanese Language and Literature Study Program<\/a> at Universitas Airlangga<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

Based on the vision and mission previously outlined, the Japanese Literature Study Program at Universitas Airlangga has set the following objectives:<\/p>

1. Producing Competent Graduates in Japanese Language and Culture<\/strong>
The program aims to produce graduates who are proficient in both spoken and written Japanese. These graduates are expected to excel in the study of Japanese linguistics, literature, and culture while being independent, critical, and adaptable to change. Additionally, the program emphasizes the development of strong ethical and moral standards among its students.<\/p>

2. Generating Scholarly Works in Japanese Linguistics, Literature, and Culture<\/strong>
The Japanese Literature Study Program encourages the production of academic works such as research papers, books, and other publications. These scholarly contributions are focused on Japanese language, literature, and urban culture, aiming to deepen the understanding of Japanese urban life and its cultural implications.<\/p>

3. Providing Community Service Through Japanese Language and Cultural Expertise<\/strong>
The program is committed to engaging with the community by applying its expertise in Japanese language and culture. This includes offering Japanese language teaching, conducting research, and sharing knowledge of Japanese linguistics, literature, and culture, benefiting both students and the wider public.<\/p>

4. Establishing a Self-Sustaining Unit for Japanese Language and Cultural Studies<\/strong>
The program also seeks to establish a self-sustaining unit that supports the practical application of Japanese language and cultural studies. This unit aims to provide useful services to the Indonesian community, leveraging the program\u2019s expertise in Japanese linguistics and cultural analysis for practical benefits.<\/p>
